When I grow up, I want to be a Researcher

The world of academia offers a range of opportunities to conduct research independently, establish collaborations and publish your work in high impact scientific journals. Does this seem like a dream coming true? During this session, we will inform you about the different milestones, the trajectory, you may follow if you want to discover the world of research and successfully complete a PhD programme. In addition to this, current research master and PhD students will share with you their experiences. At the end of the session, there will be room for questions and discussion.

Background speaker: Members of the Management Team of the Graduate School of Business and Economics, including the new PhD director, Carla Haelermans, will inform you about educational possibilities and the different research themes at SBE. Students will share their experiences of what it is like to be a research master or PhD student.
